**Job Title: Lead Expert D&T Manufacturing Execution System (MES)**
**Location**: Barcelona, Spain
As a Lead Expert D&T Manufacturing Execution System, you will be accountable for the technical design, implementation, and maintenance of MES (Manufacturing Executed System) solutions tailored to the needs of (mainly) cosmetics & food manufacturing facilities. This role requires a thorough understanding of the solution's capabilities, along with a proven history of technically coordinating initiatives that span 6-12 months in parallel.
**Your key responsibilities**
- Lead the MES technology guideline based on the selected product capabilities (Siemens Opcenter Process).
- Developing and implementing domain goals (function blocks) aligned with the respective project scope.
- Ensuring processes to track progress towards technical implementation and effectively communicating feature implementations to future users.
- Ensuring compliance with policies and regulations related to manufacturing area and software development.

**You bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
- 10 years’ experience in the Manufacturing Execution System and Fine Chemicals Industry.
- 5 years managing his/her domain of expertise in an international environment.
- Ability to implement scoping definition and to organize tasks / activities into a logical sequence.
- Ability to manage external contributors and assess quality of work
- Ability to manage and oversee the performance of internal and remote IS resources
- Ability to develop his/her and team skillset to support the solution within the enterprise.
