We are leaders in the design, development, implementation and deployment of Intelligent Transport Systems based on IoT, mobile communications and GNSS.

You will work as a RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety) engineer on projects for the European Space Agency, among other clients. These projects, developed by GMV, cover a wide range of areas within the space sector and other critical sectors such as aeronautics, which are characterised by the need for high reliability, high availability and safety criticality. Examples of projects in which GMV's RAMS engineers participate are the design and development of navigation systems (Galileo, EGNOS), launchers and rockets, satellite control centres. Even other areas in which GMV is present, which are also critical, require the participation of RAMS engineers, such as autonomous driving, aeronautical systems or intelligent transport systems.

The RAMS engineer is responsible for identifying system weaknesses through a thorough analysis of the product specification and design, identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvements. Failure mode analysis, fault trees, risk analysis, etc. require a high level of expertise in data analysis and data characterisation.
