**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Provide technical support to the plant to improve HSE conditions, production volumes and product quality.
- Basic definition of energy efficiency and improvement projects. Provide technical support during detailed engineering, assembly, testing and commissioning.
- Identify and coordinate together with the maintenance department improvements to increase plant reliability and costs reduction.
- Supervise inspection plan and the preventive plan are carried out within the deadlines.
- Liaise with suppliers and technical service.
- Issue orders for the purchase of materials/services.
- Define work instructions for new equipment or minor modifications installed in the plant. Carry out the corresponding training.
- Manage process safety, occupational, environmental or reliability incidents recorder in the databases (Intelex or local) and supervise the implementation of corrective actions on time.
- Evaluate staff improvement proposals.
- Actively participate in information exchange activities with company experts (TKM, etc.).
- Collaboration in the Management Systems applicable to the Site such as ISO 9001, TS 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, OCS.
- Participate in process AMFE design/modification.
- Contribute to Site Security by assuming the weekly PAU on call, according to the established annual calendar.
- Monitor and maintain compliance during all operations with applicable legal, corporate and local safety, environmental and energy efficiency requirements including OCS.
- In the absence of the Technical Assistant, coordinate Plant activities with Maintenance, Logistics, TQS and Technical Centre.
**This is what you bring**:
- University degree (or equivalent) in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
- Master in Chemical Engineering.
- Fluent verbal and written skills in English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies.
- Basic IT capabilities as: SAP, EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT and use of Data Bases.
- Background in digitalization process is appreciated.
- Project engineering experience is appreciated.
- Experience working in a chemical plant is appreciated.
