**Purpose of the Role**:
Are you ready to take your career to the next level in the fast-paced world of global procurement category management? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Global Procurement Category Manager for Secondary Packaging Materials. In this role, you will be accountable for the supply of essential materials such as folding cartons, leaflets, and labels for both the Consumer Health and Pharmaceuticals divisions. You'll play a key role in driving sustainability, innovation, and efficiency while ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services at competitive costs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Category Management**: Develop and implement a category strategy that generates significant business value, focusing on savings, compliance, sustainability, and risk reduction.
- **Market Intelligence**: Stay updated on category market trends and supply market dynamics to identify new potential suppliers and leverage innovation opportunities.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Establish effective, trustful relationships with key business stakeholders to align on joint target agreements and procurement projects.
- **Sourcing Excellence**: Plan and execute sourcing events for strategic initiatives and tactical projects to create a competitive advantage, ensuring the best results for our company.
- **Supplier Management**: Build strong relationships with strategic partners and key suppliers, driving continuous improvement and process optimization through collaboration.

**What You Bring**:

- A Master’s degree or equivalent in science, engineering, or business management with relevant professional experience (approx. 3 - 5 years).
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence, and communicate effectively across global and virtual environments.
- A solid background in procurement processes and methodologies, including category management and supplier management.
- Proficiency in financial acumen and understanding of cost models, enabling strategic decision-making.
- A strategic mindset with analytical decision-making capabilities and a strong orientation towards results and solutions.
