Mars Pet Nutrition Europe business is creating new, exciting planning opportunities within the regional E2E Planning Organization, location flexible at one of our European Pet Care sites.
As a passionate and skilled professional bringing in-depth functional knowledge and best practice, the Material Supply Planning Manager will be responsible for the implementation of regional governance into the Raw & Packaging Material planning processes. They will focus on developing accurate plans for a set of materials to ensure material supply sufficiency, cost and cash optimization over the mid
- to long-term planning horizon.
Reporting to the Material Supply Management Lead, they will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to bring strategy, consistency, and end-to-end synchronization in ways of working. This requires strategic end-to-end thinking, excellent communication and strong partnership with internal and external teams such as factory logistics, procurement, suppliers, finance and quality.
**What are we looking for?**
- BSc or BA in supply chain management, science and/or engineering. Master or advanced degree (sciences or business) preferred
- 5+ years of supply chain management and planning experience for a global or multi-plant CPG/FMCG company. Experience in procurement functions an asset.
- In-depth functional knowledge in raw & packaging material planning, supplier collaboration and procurement essentials
- In-depth knowledge and experience with SAP ERP, Advanced Planning Systems and Supplier Collaboration tools
- Strong analytical skills, drive for continuous improvement and cost savings
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of other European languages an asset.
**What will be your key responsibilities?**
- Lead the Raw and Packaging Material Requirements Forecasting process for a set of materials, including the implementation and execution of Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (S&OP+ horizon)
- Communication of material quantity requirements and agility needs to the Commercial (procurement) organization for appropriate sourcing activities with suppliers
- Partner with Commercial (procurement) to establish and maintain Supplier Service Level Executional Agreements, working with factory logistics to ensure the correct reflection of operational parameters and agreements
- Lead and implement improvement projects (e.g., in supplier performance management, service, cost, inventory) in partnership with other functions
