**FUNCTIONS**: The Accounting Manager will supervise, monitor and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities. DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES - Oversee accounting daily operations - Monitor and analyse accounting data - Regularly produce financial reports or statements. - Main contact with Shared Service - Ensure that all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation - Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies, and principles - Perform and oversee annual audit - Train new employees - Ensure key balance sheet accounts are reconciled timely and accurately - Assist senior management with ad-hoc tasks SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required or Equivalent - Minimum of 5 years of experience as Accounting Manager - Prior experience with SAP - Experience to work with Shared Services - Advanced PC skills using Outlook, Excel (ability to perform Pivots, V-lookups and other functions with Excel). - Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). - Experience with financial reporting requirements - Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple tasks, prioritize and adjust as needs change. - Ability to work to strict deadlines and in high pressure situations - Attention to detail and the ability to analyze large amounts of data - Proven skills in communication and build successful relationships with key stakeholders - Capacity to move in a complex environment and under financial requirement challenges and competing priorities.
