**Company Description**
NIQ is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ML Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior ML Engineer at NIQ, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing advanced AI/GenAI models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy scalable AI/GenAI solutions.

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Generative AI to join our innovative team in Madrid, Spain. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge generative AI solutions, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models, with a focus on generative AI and large language models
- Lead research initiatives to explore new techniques in generative AI and contribute to the field's advancement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing products and services
- Optimize machine learning algorithms for improved performance and scalability
- Conduct thorough experimentation and analysis to validate model effectiveness and accuracy
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the AI team
- Participate in technical discussions and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

**Qualifications**
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning, with at least 3 years focused on generative AI
- Strong programming skills in Python, with proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Extensive experience in developing and deploying large language models and other generative AI systems
- Proven track record of implementing state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and models
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and present complex ideas to diverse audiences
- Publication record in top-tier machine learning conferences or journals is a plus
