The Developmental Tumor Research Area led by Dr. Mora is currently looking for a Lab Manager to join our team at the Pediatric Cancer Center Barcelona of the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu.
The main aims of our research are to increase our capacity to cure childhood cancer through comprehensive and personalized care, to achieve new effective treatments for currently incurable cancers, to increase the number of surviving infants and to be a center open to the world.
**Responsabilities**:
- Assist researchers in different experimental pipelines.
- Maintain documentation to ensure traceability and experimental reproducibility.
- Ensure that safety protocols are followed.
- Introduce new students to the lab and work in collaboration with the technician.
- Experience with animal models.
**Skills**:
- High organizational and reporting skills.
- Good experimental laboratory skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with researchers
- Good communication, both orally and in written form (protocols/data/results presented clearly).
- A proactive nature.
**Conditions**
- A full time contract with a trial period of 4 months.

- Graduate in Biology, Biochemistry or similar
- A minimum of 5 years of molecular biology laboratory experience including managing or supervision responsibilities
