**Electronic and/or Automation Service Engineer**:

As a Service Engineer, you will execute service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. You will be in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams, acting as the technical point while delivering quality and satisfying customer service. In this role you will be responsible for providing routine maintenance and on-site or remote technical support. The position involves approximately 200 of days of domestic and occasional international travel, as you will be providing hands-on assistance at customer sites.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Performing service tasks like installation and commissioning of equipment, identifying technical problems, making analysis through remote or on-site activity in different service categories (installation and commissioning, routine maintenance, extensions, replacements etc.)
- Take on-call service according customer contracts, at least one complete week every three weeks. During the week of on-call service, 24h total availability to go customer on-site to solve the incidences
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays
- Consulting with and advising customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, appreciating their needs and providing specialist assistance and solutions
- Coordinating and executing specialist projects through planning, meeting milestones and regular reviews
- Troubleshooting simple equipment failure and making recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future

**Your background**:

- More than two years of experience in jobs like: commissioning, maintenance, technical assistance, working as maintenance and/or field service technician for mechanical and electronic tasks. Previous experience in QCS systems will be valued
- Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing of insert specific product and industry/sector
- Knowledge of MS Office tools, any PLC programming language
- Ability to travel to domestic and/or international sites
- Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
- Certificate of Higher Education (Spanish CFGS/FP II) or University studies (Electric, Electronic or Automation)
- Fluent Spanish and English written and spoken
- Valid Driver license in Spain
- Valid work permit in Spain
