MLOps Engineer - Markdown Optimization

We seek a passionate MLOps Engineer to build ML solutions that have a direct global impact on the business and consumers.

As a MLOps Engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing products in collaboration with our Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and other MLOps engineers, in delivering high-quality ML products, at a scale that most companies only dream of.

You’ll join a scrum team that is focused on Markdown Optimization and Price Elasticity. The Markdown Optimization product supports all Adidas campaigns during the year, such as Black Friday, by recommending the perfect price for each product before and during the campaign.

What You Get To Do Every Day
- Write infrastructure as a code using Terraform/Terragrunt following best practice on AWS infrastructure.
- Setup SageMaker pipelines, model registry and model deployment
- Setup CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Orchestrate and monitor highly complex flows using Airflow.
- Be the authority in the team for any Cloud / MLOps related questions and tasks.
- Collaborate with other MLOps engineers in other teams to build shared tools and services.
- Work with the platform team to ensure that the correct IAM permissions are set for infrastructure deployment and data access.
- Play, experiment and take calculated risks.
- Contribute to creating a culture of psychological safety and hyper growth.

Who You Are
- You have 5+ years of IT experience.
- You have outstanding Python skills (at least 3 years).
- You have deep understanding in MLOps and know how to implement it.
- You have solid problem-solving skills and enjoy complex challenges.
- You understand the entire software development life cycle and expert in software versioning, automation, and continuous integration and deployment.
- You are fluent in English and are able to structure your thoughts and express them clearly verbally and in writing.
- You enjoy learning and have a growth mindset.
- You love technology.
