**Job Profile Summary**:
Contributes to the Inventory Management department by managing a team and is accountable for conducting effective performance management. Develops tactical and operational plans for the Inventory Management team and supports organizational objectives and business goals. Allocates resources to meet objectives and goals of the supply chain/Inventory Management area. Directs operations for strategic Inventory Management initiatives and serves as a primary point of contact for internal partners. The scope of responsibilities for the team involvesInventory Entitlement, Multi Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO), Inventory Replenishment Policies, Slow Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) Prevention/Reduction, Inventory Projections/Reporting/KPIs, Inventory Management & Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Integration, Improving Master Data for Inventory Management initiatives, Continuous Improvement of Inventory Management Capability, and Inventory Optimization Projects including tracking. Manages the integrated supply chain inventory, segmentation strategies and implements / governs inventory policies and parameters. Oversees inventory processes and tools and is accountable to meet inventory targets.

Manages a team of individual contributors s, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management.

Leads identification of inventory management opportunities to improve profitability through cost reduction, cost avoidance, and process improvements on a cross functional basis.

Oversees inventory modeling processes and tools.

Collaborates with End-to-End Planning and Demand Planning partners to understand drivers of Inventory Projections at all levels.

Brings transparency of risks and opportunities to the IBP/S&OP process.

Develops tactical and operational plans to achieve Inventory Management goals, and communicates plans to managers, supervisors, and individual contributors.

Develops team and self to stay current in the Inventory Management and broader Supply Chain Planning space.

Ensures compliance with policies and procedures to achieve the organization's goals and objectives for the Inventory Management function.

Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets.

Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.

**Education**:

- A Bachelor's degree is required. An advanced / Master’s degree is preferred. Supply Chain Certification (APICS, IBF) desirable.

**Experience**:

- A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in Supply Chain
- Experience in the Medical Devices industry is desirable
- Broad eye for business, including insight in End-to-End supply chain characteristics is highly preferred

**Knowledge, Skills and capabilities**:

- Strong team leadership, leading by influence several cross functional teams simultaneously
- Strong partnering and negotiating with multiple internal (and frequently also external) partners
- Strong Inventory management and supply planning planning functions including inventory planning, Order placement, SLOB reserve, entitlement models, Inventory Metrics GI/DOS
- Ability to build strong collaborative teams and relationship, leading cross function/virtual teams where required
- Ability to communicate clearly, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to effectively manage projects, multiple priorities and timelines
- Ability to work across organizational boundaries through influence, negotiation and partnering for changes requiring agreement from all partners. Ability to interact with all levels in the organization
- Demonstrates working knowledge of change management concepts and methodologies
- Ability to extract the knowledge and insights from data

**Other Requirements**:

- Language Requirements: English (required) / Spanish (fluent)
- Travel Requirements: 15% travel
