**Vegetables Seeds Area Manager Almeria**
**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
This position is responsible to lead and coach a Sales Team in Almeria/Granada/Malaga region, with the objective to grow sales and, moreover, increase the demand generation of vegetable seeds varieties within the area.
**MAJOR TASKS OF THE POSITION**
- Lead and coach the sales team of the region, setting the targets for his/her team, while ensuring the achievement of the budget
- Set directions, goals, and structure for the Almeria/Granada/Malaga team
- Actively participate in the S&OP process by setting demand and goals for the team, representing his region in CBR and OFA meetings (horizon 0-36 months)
- Seek for the best Go to Market for the region, always looking for generating the right influence with the right target/player
- Stablish best Sales Strategies and Demand Generation plans to achieve the regional targets and to gain market share
- Participate in Portfolio meetings, to ensure that local needs are considered by regional R&D/MD teams
- Propose and stablish, together with Marketing and Finance, the sales strategy in terms of prices, discounts, and rebates, always achieving the profitability targets.
- Implement the marketing and Strategic Segments strategies at local level
- Manage the expense and local Sales budget
- Implement and execute the CRM tool, ensuring the correct and complete usage of the tool
**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES**
University Degree (Administration, Marketing, Finance, Agricultural, or similar)
Between 5-10 years of professional experience in Sales and/or Marketing
Ideally knowledge of vegetable seeds/horticulture business
Experience in leading people will be valuable
Experience in complex businesses and environment, with lean structures
Strong relationship-building skills and customer oriented
Problem-solution profile; creative mind for exploration of commercial alternatives
Agility in analysing, making decision and taking action
Outstanding communication and organization skills
Strong influencing, soft and interpersonal skills
Computer skills in Microsoft Office package (mainly Excel and Power Point)
User of a CRM tool
Fluent both in Spanish (Native) and in English (Professional)
Availability to travel.
