About the Position
You will be part of a leading security company worldwide. You will find an excellent work environment, surrounded by great specials in multiple technologies.
The position is for an engineer, preferably IT or Telecommunications. With verifiable experience, of at least 5 years as QA Engineer, experience in managing a test plan of a product (exploratory tests, new test cases or smoke tests), test automation, and knowledge in tasks related to security aspects will also be valued.
A Day in the Life
As a member of the development team, you will be a participant in the growth and evolution of a unique cloud-based security solution in the market. In your day-to-day life, you will be involved in all the steps and areas of development of one of the most advanced Threat Hunting and security analytics platform in the market following an Agile methodology.
You will be in charge of reviewing the quality of the solution, supervising all the work items of the project to ensure that all new developments have been properly tested, defining and managing our test plan (test cases and smoke tests) ensuring that the quality of the product is always the best.
You will be present in all the procedures and meetings of the development team being a participant in the day to day to have all the necessary context when certifying new product versions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage the test plan: New test cases / smoke tests, execution of tests in each product version, test documentation.
- Responsible for certification of the work items of the project. He will be responsible for closing them once certified.
- API Rest test automation
- You will be one of the most knowledgeable people in the product for early detection of bugs and reporting them to the development team for resolution.
- Identify key KPIs for product quality.
- Prepare and present reports and metrics to the team.
- Investigate product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications
Advance knowledge and expertise are required in:
- Azure DevOps (Visual Studio Team Services).
- Definition, creation and execution of test cases
- Functional and automation tests by postman
- Preparation and review of bugs and definition of acceptance criteria
- Ensure that the product meets the expectations in the deployments to production environment.
- Continuous integration through automatic tests
**Experience**:
- At least 5-year experience as an QA Engineer
- Jupyter Notebooks Technology
- Infrastructure deployments on Dockers
- Selenium
- Knowledge and experience in tasks related to security aspects.
