Data Quality Manager - Full Time - Madrid, Spain

**Your main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Lead the development and execution of data quality frameworks and processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness across all systems.
- Implement and maintain data governance policies, ensuring adherence to standards and regulatory requirements related to data quality and security
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, IT, operations, and business stakeholders, to identify data quality issues and provide solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis for data quality problems, providing corrective and preventive actions to ensure sustained improvements.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on data quality metrics, trends, and improvement efforts to senior leadership.
- Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of data quality tools, ensuring effective use across data pipelines and analytics platforms
- Educate teams and stakeholders on best practices for maintaining high-quality data and provide training on data quality processes and tools

**To succeed in this role, you will need**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data quality management or data governance roles, preferably in large organizations.
- Strong knowledge of data management, data analysis, and statistical methods.
- Proficiency in data management tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data quality concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in a manufacturing & engineering industry
- Knowledge transactional/management systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
- Certification in data management or related fields.
