Electrical Engineer New Product Development

Atlas Copco has the firm commitment to contribute to a sustainable and emission free future. The Production Company of Zaragoza is the Competence Center for a new product range, Energy Storage Systems, key for the strategy of the Power and Flow Division.

**We are looking for a new member for the Engineering Team** that will help us accelerate the development of Energy Storage Systems, not only in our Zaragoza Factory but also providing technical support to other product companies worldwide.

The person appointed will be responsible for the electrical/electronic design and development of the projects assigned in Energy Storage Systems. Will design and participate in the industrialization process of the new products regarding the electrical and electronic area and components.

The main functions for the position are:
1. Design and develop the electrical and electronic systems for a new product (Control panel, energy management system programing, battery and inverter selection, power connections ).
2. Create and maintain the technical documentation for supplier assembly and aftermarket service of the machinery.
3. Manage the issues detected during the manufacturing process to ensure the continuous improvements.
4. Work closely with other departments and external partners to assure and optimize the designs.
5. Cooperate and supervise in the process of prototypes and industrialization of the projects.

**What we expect from you**:
At least 5 years of proven experience in similar jobs.
Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Knowledge in Energy storage system and energy management system.
Knowledge in power electronics, electrical machinery and solar systems.
Knowledge in communication protocols (CAN Bus, ModBus, or similar).
Software knowledge in: Eplan P8, Office pack, PLM Windchill and AutoCAD.

Knowledge on electrical regulations and certifications (CE Mark and UL/CSA).
Professional competence in English.
