**Senior Applications Engineer - Cataluña**
**Responsibilities**:
- Pre-Sales activities:
- Gather and prepare all information and plan field testing. Run the field test as described in the plan. Record and document all phases of the development and adjust direction as necessary.
- Promote new products.
- Post-Sales activities:
- Troubleshooting if customer has a technical issue when using our products.
- Learn and understand how the Kennametal products are being used by clients.
- Work with each client on issues ranging from methodology and technology questions to new functionality and to future business needs and requirements. Optimize the Process of Customer (POS).
- Work closely with Regional Product Manager / Marketing to help define and found a specific solution at customer’s needs.
- Monitor customers and competitor’s activities in the market and report important customer and competitor information to the management.
- Keep abreast of technology trends and alert management.
- Reporting: CRM, Tool Performance Report, POS-Projects, etc
**Requirements**:
- 4 years of working experience in metal cutting products.
- Practical experience in Milling, Holemaking, Turning.
- Knowledge of the metalcutting market and market trends.
- Technical education in mechanical disciplines (high school) or higher.
- Able to assess customer needs.
- Experience on understanding and communicating product and technical information.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows / Office environment.
- CAD / CAM knowledge welcome.
- English certain in talking/writing.
- Good presentation skills.
Base Location:
Hybrid model with 25% travel to the clients in the Catalonia region, but it can also support occasionally other clients in the Iberian region.
Office in Sant Cugat del Valles.
