**Reporting to**: Sr Controlling Manager
**Based in**:Madrid, Spain
- The selected professional will assist in tracking loan performance, analyzing financial statements and project metrics, monitoring covenants, preparing risk reports, coordinating with stakeholders, managing data, identifying problem loans, and supporting portfolio-wide analytics and reporting.
**What will you do?**
- **Financial Analysis**: Help analyze financial statements, project KPIs, and metrics such as DSCR, LLCR, and IRR under the guidance of senior team members.
- **Loan Monitoring Support**: Assist in tracking the performance of a portfolio of loans by collecting and reviewing borrower information, loan documentation, and project updates.
- **Covenant Tracking**: Support the monitoring of financial and operational covenants and help maintain compliance checklists and deliverables calendars.
- **Risk Reporting**: Contribute to the preparation of internal memos and summaries highlighting key credit risks, variances, and performance trends.
- **Portfolio Analytics Assistance**: Participate in portfolio-wide reviews, reporting exercises, and support the team in preparing analysis for management and regulatory needs.
- **Stakeholder Coordination**: Coordinate with internal departments (credit, legal, ESG) and external parties (agents, consultants) for data collection and information follow-up.
- **Data Management**: Maintain accurate records in loan management systems, including amortization schedules, financial models, and compliance trackers.
- **Problem Loan Support**: Help identify early warning signs by flagging issues and assisting in the escalation process where needed.
**What do we need?**
- Bs. Degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in portfolio financial analysis, ideally in the renewable energy sector; real estate or other infrastructure project will be valued.
- Attention to detail, and ability to manage internal and external stakeholders for delivery.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, and knowledge of complex ERP, ideally SAP R3 or 4HANA.
- Advanced level of English and Spanish.
