Somfy is looking for a trainee to join our Marketing team for Southern Europe based in Barcelona.

As a Market Research Trainee, you will be an integral part of our market research team, assisting in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide insights into market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about learning and developing skills in market research techniques and strategies. Through hands-on training and mentorship, you will gain valuable experience in conducting comprehensive market analysis and supporting strategic decision-making processes within the organization.

**Key Responsabilities**
- **Data collection**: Assist in collecting data through various methods such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and online research platforms.
- **Data Analysis**: Utilize statistical and analytical tools to process and analyze collected data, identifying patterns, trends, and correlations relevant to the research objectives.
- ** Market Trend Monitoring**:Keep abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and market dynamics by monitoring relevant publications, reports, and online sources.
- ** Competitor Analysis**: Support in conducting competitive intelligence activities to understand competitor products, pricing strategies, marketing tactics, and market positioning.
- ** Report Preparation**: Assist in preparing comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing research findings, insights, and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
- ** Cross-functional collaboration**: Collaborate with colleagues from various departments such as marketing, product development, and sales to gather insights and align research efforts with organizational goals.
- ** Quality Assurance**:Ensure the accuracy and reliability of research data by implementing quality control measures and conducting thorough validation checks.
- ** Professional Development**: Proactively seek learning opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in market research methodologies, tools, and techniques.

**Qualifications**
- Currently studying a bachelor's degree/ master´s in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Psychology or related field.
- Possibility of signing an agreement with your school/ university for a 6-months period.
- Analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SPSS, or R.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and precision in data interpretation.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive attitude.
