**The role**:
GTD Science, Infrastructures & Robotics offers services and solutions for energy operators, and nuclear research centers focused on the development of robotics, control, and supervisors. We develop and validate ground-breaking smart infrastructure solutions and put some pretty nifty smart solutions on the market.

**Position activities**:
ITER project will bring the Fusion process like it happens on the Sun to the earth in an experimental Fusion Reactor (ITER), at GTD we are participating in this challenge with different contributions in the control and robotics areas.

This position is to participate in the Software Development in the Robotics area, which is key for the right operation of the reactor, since there are some areas that only can be accessed by robots and not by humans.

**Your profile**:

- Pursuing a Bachelor or master degree in Computing, industrial/electrical engineering or telecommunications.
- SW design, development and testing
- Programming skills: C
- Linux and POSIX knowledge
- Unit, integration and validation testing
- GIT
- English C1

**Nice to have, knowledge or interest in**:

- Robotics and/or electronics
- Real-time operating systems (Real-Time Linux, VxWorks)
- Concurrent and multi-core programming
- continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD)
- Software architecture design
- Graphic User Interface
- Programming skills: C++ and Qt
