Head Hostess

As our rooftop Head Hostess you will take the hostess team to the next level & set the tone for the first touchpoint for all our guests. This position is service oriented and extremely outgoing. You will manage reservations, invite guests into the restaurant, inform guests about our dining options and lead them through the ideal options for them, and provide a “wow” experience for guests who may visit us for the first time.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

The role of a Head Hostess is essential in creating an unforgettable experience for all the guests of THE ROOFTOP. You will provide our guests with a warm and sincere greeting and to ensure any of their special requirements are carefully communicated to the rest of the THE ROOFTOP team. Our Head Hostess is also leading the hostess team in a motivational atmosphere and has a complete knowledge of F&B service techniques, all menus, drinks lists and specialties offered in THE ROOFTOP and served to the correct standards, to pass on. You lead by example and make sure your team is always spot on.

**Functions**:

- A warm and welcoming delivery while processing our valued reserved and walk-in guests
- Excellent customer service skills in person and over the phone
- Positive attitude and aim to provide communication skills
- Setting up events in collaboration with the sales team, hotel F&B manager and The Rooftop manager Contribute your part to the management and organisation of your team
- Final responsibility for all bookings, reservations, complaints & VIPS
- Maintain a clean reception and working areaCater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly) Inform local team about any special requirements of the guest and VIPs

- Previous work experience as a hostess (team leader)
- Fluent speaking, writing in English & Spanish
- Excellent customer service skills in person, in writing and in speaking
- Availability to work in shifts as needed
- Flexible availability on nights and weekends
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift
