The Role
We’re Hiring: IBM MQ Administrator
Are you an experienced Rabbit MQ Administrator with a solid understanding of distributed, highly available environments?
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer IBM MQ.
- Manage and operate Rabbit MQ.
- Install and configure new components within the infrastructure.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems in workflows with strong analytical skills.
Role Highlights:
- Fully remote position with integration into a UK-based team.
- High-level English proficiency required.
- Flexibility to handle on-call responsibilities as part of a collaborative rotation.
Who You Are
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year in Rabbit MQ experience and 5 in IBM MQ Administrator.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with scripting and configuration tools like Ansible, wsadmin, Python, Rundeck.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions).
- Background in IBM WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Liberty, IBM HTTP Server, WebLogic, Tomcat, Rabbit MQ.
- Exposure to containerized environments like Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes.
