Microsoft is hiring Security professionals that will drive customer cloud security adoption for the most important companies in the market.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

**Responsibilities**:
Architecture Design and Deployment
- Lead and support on strategic customers. Leverages existing architecture approach or reference architecture to propose a security solution or achieve Microsoft's agreed commitments to the customer.
- Help customers create their security plan and strategy to transform their security practices to a more modern and cloud-native approach, using Microsoft security solutions.
- Proposes viable solutions based on specific MS security products. demonstrates complex concepts and proves the capability of those solutions through design collaboration sessions with the customers.
- Applies technical knowledge of security architecture and solutions to meet business and information technology requirements and resolve identified technical constraints.

Understanding Customer Technical Environment
- Gathers customer insights (e.g., feedback around technical preferences, environments, business needs) and leverages these insights and existing plans to map solutions with customer business outcomes. Identifies technical blockers to accelerate consumption and deployment.
- Acts as the voice of the customer (VOC)/ by driving awareness of existing feedback, gaps, blockers, insights, resources, etc. across communities to track, add, and prioritize, using established channels (e.g., UAT/TFT).
- Proactively supports customers in their Azure cloud adoption journey, helping them to define a Secure Architecture, implementing the necessary security and compliance controls.
- Perform hands-on activities such as architectural design sessions, POCs supporting the customer in evaluating security solutions Microsoft Sentinel & Microsoft Defender among others.

Security - Practice IP Development
- Supports research whitepapers and contributes to scoping surveys to assess Customer blockers and trends, provide feedback to PG/Eng.
- Support Value based delivery (VBD) IP development and IP content lifecycle support.
- Curate and produce high quality guidance for our internal and external communities and customers.

Trusted Advisor
- Identifies and begins developing impactful relationships with customer and internal teams e.g. Product Group (PG), Engineering, Sales and CSU.
- Respectfully challenges customers when going in the wrong direction and escalates appropriately.
- Understands the competitor's architecture solutions and identifies Microsoft's strengths over competitive solutions to demonstrate Microsoft's value to customers.
- The technical aptitude and experience to learn new cloud security technologies and understand relevant cloud security market trends.

Thought Leadership
- Shares ideas, insights, and Security technical input
- Actively looks for relevant communities to learn from and contribute to.
- Participates in internal/external security community events (e.g., conferences, seminars, technical meetups, Webcasts, blogs, hackathons) and shares learnings.

**Qualifications**:
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND several years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
