**Contribute to Power the Solution, join Vestas as Development Execution Project Manager** **EVP Vestas Development>Development EMEA>Development MED** **Within Vestas Global Development Department, the Execution Project Development Manager will support the development of renewable energy plants with particular reference to the pre-screening of suitable area, execution and coordination of development activities, the interfacing with the consultants appointed for the preparation of the Environmental and constraints analysis requested under permits procedures and the coordination with other Vestas stakeholders (e.g. Development Wind Specialist, BOP, Grid, Environmental Specialist) for cross-functional activities.** **The Lead Development is overall responsible for the execution of wind projects and development opportunities across the region covering Spain.** **Responsibilities** Joining our Global development team you will be tasked with the following: - Monitor the development subcontractors, keeping track of their engagement and involved in any negotiations. - Supervise contracts with local providers/subcontractors and implementation of related business ethic screening. - Control and monitor the progress of activities and expenses of the SPVs in line with time schedule and DevEx budget. - Coordinate or to be directly involved with energy assessment, engineering, or construction functions to ensure that wind project needs and goals are met. - Work closely with lawyers and any other external consultant for the subscriptions of lands lease agreement with landowners and expropriation process.Le - Direct or support negotiations involving inland use, interconnection agreements, etc. - Creating wind energy project business plans, including project scope, goals, resources, schedules, budgets, or any other project information. - Supervise the work of subcontractors or consultants to ensure quality and conformance to specifications or budgets. - Coordinate multiple and complex, cross functional teams. - Support project origination mainly in Spain and other Mediterranean countries when required **Qualifications** - Experience of 8 + years with technical background in a similar position - Business or engineering education (i.e Electrical, Mechanical, Infrastructure, Industrial, Environmental) - At least 5 years experience developing Wind Energy projects in Spain. - Knowledge of local stakeholders from the private and public sector. - Experience in all permitting aspects for wind energy projects - High Level of English - Solid understanding of business principles, such as P&L, Marketing, Human Resources allocation and costing. **Competencies** - Solid investigative Skills - Desire to participate in the development of both operational and commercial aspects - Solid leadership skills and experience - High flexibility and willingness to adapt - An open, straightforward communication style - Independent, motivated, and innovative **What we offer** Vestas offers you a versatile job in an exciting and high paced team in a global environment.
