To be successful as an Enterprise Architect you have proven advanced experience in information technology, computer science or equivalent. We believe you have working experience in leading business transformative change, preferably in a retail environment with an omni-channel context. A minimum of 5 years of experience from product and engineering organizations in a leading position, and minimum of 10 years experience in building internet facing distributed systems, is often needed to have the amount of knowledge you will need for this role. But we know that not everyone has the same journey. Likewise a proven Enterprise Architecture responsibility stretching across larger areas in a company with global stretch and worked with senior leadership.

As a person you are a good collaborator, have strong leadership skills - able to actively lead and drive architecture work and collaborate with diverse senior stakeholders. You pay attention to detail and actively acquire new knowledge, skills and champions new methods to improve performance in deliveries. You possess knowledge across a range of different technology stacks, ideally applied within a retail sector, and can change direction based on new ideas, approaches and strategies.

**Your responsibilities**

As an Enterprise Architect, you are part of the Enterprise Architecture leadership team and will be part of developing the technology landscape across IKEA. You will also be part of setting the course with strategic direction, principles and standards that enable guidance for the organization. You will have responsibility for uplifting the architecture cohesion across the entire IKEA value chain, covering Ingka, Inter IKEA Group, IKEA business capabilities and overall roadmap and planning. You may lead a team of Technology Architects.

You are comfortable managing a diverse set of senior stakeholders up to the board level to ensure reaching both short
- and long-term goals.

You will have responsibility for uplifting the architecture cohesion across the entire IKEA value chain, covering Ingka, Inter IKEA Group, IKEA business capabilities, and overall roadmap and planning. You may lead a team of Technology Architects.

In this role, you will:

- Work with one or multiple products in terms of being fully accountable for the technical deliverables, and supporting the product's roadmap. This includes the efficiency, security, and quality aspects of delivery and operations as well as support
- Work closely with the assigned product owners and all groups within the Digital Technology organization.
- Lead and organize the team following Lean and DevOps principles to implement, evolve, support, and own the software and system components to Group Digital quality standards - Manage all technical resources and capacity plans within budget
- Lead, inspire, and motivate a multi-discipline software product team
- Help build a digital mindset and an engineering culture that is accountability and results-oriented - Responsible for recruiting engineers, achieving and sustaining employee engagement and retention through motivation and strong management
