Epidemiological Product Owner

The Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public institution that promotes and develops research, innovation, and biosanitary teaching at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital. In collaboration with theTe Public Health and Community team (eSPiC), part of the Drassanes-Vall d’Hebron International Health Unit (USIDVH) of the International Health Program of the Catalan Institute of Health (PROSICS), we are seeking a expert in agile methodology to work in the improvements of the tool that was designed for real-time monitoring and evaluation of the community interventions in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (HSUS-espic surveys). This tool was designed to record all the activities related to infectious cases management and contact tracing, to register the results of community screening interventions (phone calls, visits, workshops, etc.) and to collect relevant socio-demographic data of the participants in the community actions.

This work is in the framework of the Operational research project to evaluate the impact and cost-effectiveness of the implementation of a community and public action model (MACIP) for MDOs and other situations of interest due to epidemiological vulnerability, in the immigrant population, in Catalonia.

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences.
- Specific/Additional training in agile methodology.
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, English (business level).

**Desired**:

- Specific training in international health.

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:

- At least 2 years of experience working in community health, specific in infectious diseases.
- Knowledge of the concept and methodology of research projects.
- Ability to work with teams.

**Main responsibilities and duties**:

- Coordinate / manage (product owner) the team for the improvements of the HSUS espic-surveys software, following the agile methodology.
- Participate in health promotion, prevention, and screening activities related to MDO.
- Support the organization of workshops, campaigns, and other initiatives related to the MDO.
- Collect information and assist in the follow-up of identified cases.

**Labour conditions**:

- Full-time position: 40 h/week.
- Starting date: immediate.
- Contract duration: 4 months.
- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
