**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

We are looking for a Cloud Operations Lead to develop an operations strategy in line with the group's cloud strategy and establish a roadmap to ensure the team can effectively meet business needs with a focus on task automation. Collaborate with Cloud departments to develop ideas that contribute to the improvement of operational efficiency and integrity of IT and business processes.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Develop, deploy and enforce effective cloud policies and procedures focused on automation to ensure that the infrastructure operates efficiently and reliably.
- Monitor the cloud infrastructure and ensure alignment with group policies while ensuring business continuity in the event of a disaster.
- Maintain operational continuity of the entire cloud environment, develop and deploy processes and procedures to ensure high availability of systems in line with the service levels agreed with the organization.
- Evaluate systems data and error logs through automated KPIs to establish action plans to resolve recurring issues.
- Manage the external teams that contribute to the delivery of IT operations in the organization and assess their quality of service on a regular basis.
- Develop best practice guides for technicians, such as manuals for IT department staff.

EXPERIENCE

5 - 10 years of experience in managing IT Operations in a large, global organization.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Cloud Technical knowledge
- Deep understanding of IT operations
- Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis.
- Thorough knowledge of systems (servers and datacentre infrastructure), networks and cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience of Cloud migration projects
- Recent experience in DevOps, CI/CD systems that enable build/release/deployment automation of operating systems patches.
- Experience with systems testing validation and production environments.
- Team leadership - The Operations Lead should have extensive management experiences and the ability to set priorities, leading and mentoring their teams in a constructive and collaborative manner, understanding of team dynamics and ability to resolve issues and correct behaviour of direct reports, as well as retain and attract talent.
- Project management, process enhancement, communication skills, Problem-solving skills and budget management
- Proven experience using Apigee, Terraform Enterprise & Ansible
- Experience working with ALM framework and its most representative tools
- English C1
- **Certifications desired**:

- **AWS **(AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate / Professional, AWS Certified Devops Engineer Professional, Data Analytics)
