The main tasks will be to wrangle (gather, explore, clean, process, transform) the data for multiple projects, providing insight and inputs for the modelers and designers. Furthermore, this position will be responsible for the use of reinforcement learning agents in industrial decision-making systems. **Key Duties** - Wrangle data for multiple projects - Be in charge of the design, development and final implementation of RL optimization pipelines - Develop and maintain an AI training and optimizacion data pipeline **Requirements**: - Education - Bachelor of Sciences, Masters degree on related field desired - Master's degree in computational sciences will be highly appreciated - Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience - Skill in machine learning and artificial intelligence methods - 2-3 years of minimum experience in a similar position will be highly appreciated - Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience - Expertise and knowledge of machine learning algorithms - Knowledge of reinforcement learning libraries will be highly appreciated - Good level in English - Competences - Expertise in python programming with popular machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, and similar) - High interest in learning new skills and co-work with the industry to solve challenging problems - Team player and goal-oriented - Strong analytical background and critical thinking **Conditions** - The position will be located at BSC within the CASE Department - We offer a full-time contract (37.5h/week), a good working environment, a highly stimulating environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure, flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance, support to the relocation procedures - Duration: Open-ended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration - Holidays: 23 paid vacation days plus 24th and 31st of December per our collective agreement - Starting date: 16/08/2025 **Applications procedure and process** - A full CV in English including contact details - A cover/motivation letter with a statement of interest in English, clearly specifying for which specific area and topics the applicant wishes to be considered.
