Merlin Digital Partner is a tailor-made digital recruitment company for startups, scale-ups and corporates. We were born in **Tech Barcelona **where we established one of our main offices.
We are currently looking for a **Head of Operations** **to manage the legal area of the company.
**Our Partner** is a dynamic scale-up specialising in employee wellbeing through flexible compensation and benefits plans. In 2019, it closed a financing round of 14 million.
Through this digital platform, it will allow employees to enjoy a variety of products such as (pension plans, retirement plans, health and life insurance, restaurant tickets, transport and childcare subsidies...) exempt from income tax.
**Role**:
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives and OKRs, in accordance with
company strategy
- Set budgets and forecasts based on objectives
- Review financial information and adjust operational budgets if needed
- Find ways to increase customer NPS with operations processes
- Define and implement new processes regarding financial, insurance and
client-related needs
- Ensure full documentation of the active processes as well as training within the team
- Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the operations
- Manage finance, insurance and client-related operations
- Manage process workload to ensure a correct execution
- Identify optimization/ automation opportunities and oversee the execution of
the improvements
- Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data
and KPIs
- Report on operational performance and suggest improvements
- Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
- Supervise staff from different departments and provide feedback
- Recruit, train and supervise staff
**We need**
- +5 years of experience
- Proven experience as Head of Operations/ consultant or other related jobs
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solvingGood communication and people skills
- Experience budgeting and forecasting
- Experience mapping and defining new processes
- Knowledge about process automation tools and techniques will be a plus
- A positive attitude; you welcome failure and learn from it.
- BSc/BA in Business, Engineering or other relevant field
