The group has experience in the study and development of new advanced materials, devices and systems for information and communication technologies, in particular displays, image sensors and secure communications. The main drive of the group is to carry out applied research which bridges academia and industry, by developing fundamental ideas with great potential for revolutionizing future photonic products. The group is currently involved in several European projects. This project funded by MCIN/AEI/ 10.13039/501100011033 and by the “European Union NextGenerationEU/PRTR" PCI2022-132954 within the QuantERA II Programme that has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 **Share this opening**: Use the following URL: Experience in one or more of the following: - PIC design - PIC simulation - PIC fabrication - PIC characterization - PIC packaging Good level of research independence and project management are expected. Salaries for ICFO Postdoctoral positions are assigned by the Selection Committee, based on experience and seniority of the applicant, as well as the assigned tasks and responsibilities within the group. Standard salaries range from a lower level aligned with national Ramon-y-Cajal fellowships to higher levels aligned with Marie Skłodowska-Curie individual fellowships. The contract is offered for a period of 1 year, renewable.
