IT Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer at AXA Partners, you will play a vital role in collaboration with business units, local IT teams, operations, security, BCM, and ITSCM areas. Your responsibilities include overseeing local network systems infrastructures operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of services in alignment with target architecture, group standards, and stringent security guidelines. **Key **Responsibilities**
- Ensure efficient and secure performance of Axa Partners’ networks within agreed metrics and controls.
- Act as the primary contact for IT network systems in Spain, building positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Provide technical support (L2) and L3 assistance for networks and services in the region.
- Validate policies and procedures, ensuring they adhere to best practices and technological standards.
- Generate KPIs and reports on business demands and project progression.
- Oversee solution analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, and rollback plans for excellence.
- Preserve asset availability through disaster recovery, backup procedures, and information security measures.
- Maintain quality of service by enforcing organizational standards in Change Management, Incident and Problem Management.
- Manage external partners, ensuring first-class IT services and overseeing ultimate ownership and decision-making through the internal team.

**Your Profile** Must have**
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer managing enterprise-scale network infrastructures and related services.
- Hands-on expertise in servers, networks, firewalls, cloud computing, and databases.
- In-depth knowledge of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, VPN, and security protocols.
- Familiarity with OSI/TCP/IP model and networking standards (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools, coupled with a strong security mindset.
- Proficiency in Information Security standards (e.g., ISO 27001) and IT Project Management.
- Understanding of Infrastructure Architecture, Operations, and ITIL practices.
- Proven track record in defining implementation, deployment, and rollback plans.
- Ability to generate process documentation and conduct cost/benefit analysis.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and IT certifications (ITIL, MCSE, CCSE, CCNP, CCNP-Security) is desirable.
- Fluent in English and Spanish are required.
- Strong security mindset.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols and standards (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, VoIP) and solutions (EDR, DLP, AV, Tenable, Qualys)
