**Sr Energy Markets Analyst**:

- Reporting to the Energy Markets Manager and based in **Madrid, **we are looking for a **Sr Energy Markets Specialist.**
- The selected professional will leverage market expertise and data analysis to drive strategic decisions and ensure market stability across X-ELIO's European operations, with emphasis on solar energy investments.**What will you do?**
- **Market Expertise for Strategic Alignment**: Drawing on a solid understanding of energy market fundamentals, including commodity price evolution and renewable energy penetration, to support various lines of business at X-ELIO, from M&A to board-level decisions.
- **Advanced Data Analytics for Insightful Strategies**: Conducting high-quality quantitative analysis using advanced Python or R software to identify market patterns and trends, translating findings into strategic positioning for the company.
- **Proactive Regulatory Monitoring for Informed Decisions**: Monitoring key market regulatory bodies and energy policy developments to identify potential impacts on market infrastructure, providing continuous updates to senior management and board members.
- **Comprehensive Market Intelligence for Informed Decisions**: Developing and maintaining market data, analysis, and presentations to convey key findings to stakeholders and facilitate data-driven decision-making processes.
- **Ensuring Market Stability and Reliability**: Providing reliability and stability in market price levels across different European markets, with a focus on optimizing investment projects in storage and solar energy.

**What do we need?**
- At least 5 years of experience in energy market analysis (mainly European ones), including a deep understanding of market fundamentals, data analysis skills, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks.
- Experience managing data in in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Advanced level of English and Spanish.
- Excellent communication skills to convey findings effectively to stakeholders.
