Position Overview

The Bartender is more than a mixologist — you are a key ambassador of our energy, lifestyle, and commitment to excellence. You’ll be responsible for crafting signature and classic cocktails with precision, flair, and consistency, while ensuring every guest receives a warm, memorable, and high-energy bar experience.
From service speed to cleanliness, from menu knowledge to guest engagement — you own the bar, the vibe, and the final pour.

Your role goes beyond the technical: you represent the spirit of the brand, share stories behind the drinks, confidently recommend dishes, and offer impeccable service even during high-pressure moments. With strong product knowledge and a proactive approach to preparation and service, you play a vital role in maintaining the rhythm and quality of our bar operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare all cocktails, mocktails, and beverages with precision and consistency
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences through professional and personalized service
- Fully master the beverage and food menu, including ingredients and pairings
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked bar stations at all times
- Greet guests, take beverage orders, and confidently recommend drinks and food items
- Promote daily specials and highlight seasonal creations using suggestive selling techniques
- Operate the POS system for accurate order entry and payment processing
- Manage bar inventory and communicate supply needs in a timely manner
- Adhere to all hygiene, safety, and legal standards, including age verification
- Follow opening, service, and closing checklists with consistency and accountability
- Handle guest feedback and complaints calmly and professionally, involving a manager when needed
- Anticipate guest needs and respond swiftly to requests during service
- Collaborate with floor and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and communication
- Participate in team briefings and ongoing training to stay informed and inspired
- Embody the values of the Nikki Beach Hospitality Group and represent the new project with enthusiasm and professionalism

Required Qualifications and Competencies
- Proven experience as a bartender in high-end hospitality venues
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, mixology techniques, and bar operations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Quick, organized, and detail-oriented, even under pressure
- Confident and positive guest-facing demeanor
- Strong POS handling and basic cash reconciliation experience
- Ability to follow recipes and SOPs with precision
- Fluency in English is mandatory; other languages such as Spanish or German are a plus
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
