**Data and Analytics Manager**

**Your Job**
- Creating value from business-driven data and analytics initiatives.
- Understand business goals and drivers and support the business and other stakeholders in their data-driven objectives.
- Help the business in identifying the right use cases and support prioritization based on feasibility and value.
- Help uncover and translate business requirements and needs.
- Education and coaching of the employees to become more “data-savvy” and facilitating data-centric business thinking.
- Managing data and analytics delivery and operations.
- Improve and develop current data and analytics capabilities.
- Build a data management framework to create the governance, improve the data quality, etc.
- Translate and prioritize business requirements (both functional and non-functional) into a solution, ensuring compliance with the organizations strategy, policies and standards.
- Support analytics & BI development (reports, dashboard, visualization) and/or data governance (stewardship best practices).
- Work closely with team members and Head of Business Applications & Information Management to monitor and adjust priorities.
- Supervise and develop the data and analytics team.

**Your Profile**

**Education Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.

**Minimum Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years Information Technology work experience required; more years preferred. Ideally 2+ years leading and managing a data and analytics team.
- Production level experience deploying Microsoft Azure-based data and analytics solutions.
- Technical Services: prior banking or pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.

**Licenses and Certifications**:

- Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Power BI, or equivalent data and analytics technology certifications desired.

**Knowledge** **/ Skills** **/ Abilities**:

- Strong MS SQL skills.
- Analytics and Business Intelligence tools like Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong team spirit to interact with both business domain teams, the data and analytics teams and IT staff.
- Ability to work with little direction.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills. High attention to detail.
- Organized, high flexibility, comfortable in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong facilitation skills, for example ability to host sessions to elicit ideas from others, understand their issues and encourage group participation.
- Ability to convey information to diverse audiences in a way that is easily understood and actionable.
- Creative thinking and ability to frame new concepts that spur use case ideation for business participants and brainstorming with business users about future product and services.
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and understand the needs of internal customers that may not be unable to express their requirements in technical terms.
- Knowledge of AI, for example graph analysis, machine learning, natural language processing, would be a plus.
