**About the role**:
As Art Manager you will help mentor, develop, and lead the art team on a growing project. You will partner closely with the Art Director to plan, organize, and deliver the team's work, and you will play a key role in building a thriving team culture in which artists can flourish.
- Recruit, cultivate, and retain great artists to build our team. Work closely with them to set and achieve career goals and address feedback.
- Own the planning and delivery of art assets for features, milestones, and releases.
- Act as the glue between art teams and production, communicating needs, identifying dependencies, and addressing issues.
- Establish and create processes to help the art team and outsource vendor run efficiently and smoothly.
- Set up quality control and review mechanisms to support the art director and leads and ensures quality output both internally and externally.
- Champion team values and build an inspiring and productive team culture.

**What you'll need to be successful**:

- Experience managing teams of artists in a remote work environment.
- Experience working in game development or live operations in production or art management.
- Experience driving production processes and toolsets (Agile, Kanban, Clickup, Asana, Jira)
- Great organization, planning, and attention to detail. Ability to effectively structure and track large amounts of complex information.
- Ability to communicate clearly across teams, disciplines, and multiple stakeholder.
- Experience working with external art vendors or partners.
