Summary of the role:
Key accountabilities:

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on looms, extrusion lines, and other home-built equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in various types of equipment.
- Build small parts and components as needed to support equipment maintenance and modifications.
- Modify and upgrade existing production lines to improve efficiency, safety, and reliability.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to design and implement equipment modifications and improvements.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Source and order necessary parts and materials for maintenance and repair tasks.

Qualifications required
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Experience with PLC programming and control systems is a plus.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to fabricate and assemble small parts and components.
- Experience with welding, machining, and other fabrication techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in an industrial setting.
- Strong team orientation and ability to collaborate
