**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, characterize, and qualify manufacturing processes from concept through development and transfer to manufacturing of microfluidic consumables, including specifying and procuring required tools and equipment, process flow, process development/verification, and qualification plan.
- Develop process controls leveraging DOE, statistical process control and data analysis
- Work closely with technical team to build critical prototypes and pre-production units to meet customer requirements and timelines.
- Lead the planning and technical side of process development for individual programs
- Set up and conduct process checks and complete process documentation for assigned processes to be successfully transitioned from New Product Development into Manufacturing.

**What your background should look like**:

- A degree in Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry or other relevant physical science.
- 5+ years of experience in medical device industry or in design and process development functions.
- Previous experience leading technical programs and inter-disciplined group
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment or similar developing processes, procedures, SOP’s, qualification testing.
- Experience with plastic prototyping and manufacturing techniques (e.g. injection moulding, micromilling, laser welding and ultrasonic welding)
