**About the role**:
We are looking for an organised and people-focused part-time (2.5 days a week) HR professional to support our Madrid team with day-to-day HR needs. You will be the first point of contact for HR in our growing office of 19 people and will collaborate with our Global People & Culture team (17 colleagues across Europe) to deliver a high-quality HR service. **Meet your Manager**

In this role, you will be managed by Jo Buckley. Jo joined ClientEarth in May 2023 and is based in our London office. She is a highly competent HR professional, educated to Masters level, with experience in recruitment, learning, leadership development, business partnering, coaching, mentoring, facilitation, organisational development and effectiveness, HR analytics, and employee relations across a number of industries.

Main Duties

Provide day-to-day HR support which is fully compliant with local employment laws covering the following:

- Supporting Recruitment and Onboarding
- With the support of our external consultants prepare contracts of employment and other relevant documentation for new joiners.
- Coordinate the provision of accurate and timely monthly payroll information, changes to conditions of employment, ensuring related paperwork is issued and information is recorded and processed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain employee records in accordance with legal requirements.
- Assist with developing local policies and keeping the employee handbook up to date.

Role requirements
- HR professional qualification or equivalent work experience
- Proven work experience in an HR environment or in a role with exposure to HR practices in Spain
- Confident in delivering routine HR processes and advising employees on standard HR matters
- HR Administration experience, including running monthly payroll
- Experience of preparing employee contracts and variations
