In Quintas Energy we want to accelerate the energy transition, and we need a skillset Senior Accountant for our Italian portfolio in our Seville office to achieve this. For this role, **full professional fluency in Italian is essential**, given the nature of the portfolio and the frequent interactions with local stakeholders.

The Senior Accountant is responsible for delivering accounting activities of the Italian portfolio within the finance department. This position requires a seasoned accounting professional with strong technical expertise, and the ability to**coordinate the accounting team’s work, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

**Responsibilities**:

- General accounts, accruals and payments, invoicing and accounting for group companies.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts.
- Credit control, cash flows and online payments.
- Preparation of the Balance Sheet and the Profit and Loss Account.
- Monthly close and client reporting.
- Support to the tax team in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Liaison with clients and other departments, especially loan compliance, engineering and legal.
- Review and coordination of the accounting team’s work, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Completion of mandatory annual accounts.
- Management during audit processes.
- Preparation of annual budgets in coordination with other departments.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance required
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as Accountant, and at least 1 year of experience in coordinating team´s work.
- Progressive experience in financial operations, planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Expert knowledge in Excel needed including VLOOKUP’s, formulas, and Pivot Tables.
- Working knowledge of Italian GAAP
- Languages: Full professional level in Italian is a must, and at least B2 in English and B1 in Spanish are necessary (all languages will be assessed during the process).
