Job Summary

The WMS Lead will report to the IT Director for the Region but she/he will have a dotted line into the Contract Logistics Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Warehouse Management System, including planning, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed project plans.
- Manage and optimize the WMS to ensure efficient warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working closely with IT and operations teams to ensure mínimal disruption to warehouse activities.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Provide training and support to warehouse staff and other users to ensure effective use of the WMS.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in WMS technology to recommend and implement best practices.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, user manuals, and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices related to warehouse operations and WMS.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on Warehouse Management Systems.
- Experience with Blue Yonder implementation
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing WMS solutions in a warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in WMS software and related technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Good level of proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
