**Director of EMEA Sales Engineering and Professional Services**

**Job Summary**
- Manage a team of Sales Engineers and Professional Services in the EMEA Region helping to ensure sales and customer success
- Engage directly with Sales and Sales Leadership to provide support for pre-sales and professional services activities across all Aerospike product and services offerings
- Conduct continual pipeline recruiting efforts to find and hire top sales engineering and professional services talent within your region. Mentor/coach new hires during onboarding and subsequent phases to ensure proper ramping of SE and PS skills and capabilities.
- Ensure that your team is enabled to support all required Aerospike products and services offerings along with required sales/soft skills
- Work closely with Sales and Sales leadership to develop strategic and technical account plans
- Develop a close working relationship with Professional Services and Training/Education to ensure tight alignment between pre and post-sales activities
- Support Professional Services by identifying and recommending new opportunities, providing resources for engagements, and following major engagements to ensure success
- Manage the performance of key resources closely ensuring that we are taking the necessary actions to retain top talent and manage performance at all levels.
- Conduct regular 1:1's with team members to provide constructive feedback and skills development
- Work cross-functionally with support, product management, engineering, and other organizations to ensure alignment with the field, provide process and product feedback, and resolve critical customer situations.
- Deliver detailed presentations and technical briefings to customers on Aerospike products and solutions. Assist and manage critical Aerospike evaluations and POC's

**Required skills**
- At least 5+ year's relevant experience in technical selling and supporting infrastructure software products to IT organizations.
- At least 5+ year's relevant SE and Professional Services Management experience.
- Excellent communication skills - written and oral. Ability to communicate complex ideas.
- Experience and familiarity with IT management products and services.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people challenge and lead people toward their peak performance.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
