SkipLabs is a growing international tech company building smart, digital products. We believe great teams are built on strong culture, clarity, and care — and we’re now looking for a **People Operations Manager** to help us scale that across borders.
In this **high-impact, part-time role**, you’ll take ownership of all People Ops processes and initiatives across Spain, France, the UK, and the US. You’ll bring structure, clarity, and heart to how we support our team and you’ll be a key sparring partner to leadership on everything related to people, culture, and operations.
What You’ll Do
- Own the **onboarding and offboarding** process across multiple countries
- Liaise with **HR lawyers** to ensure compliance with local employment laws
- Coordinate **payroll processes**, **stock option plans**, and **occupational medicine** where applicable
- Organize **offsites, internal events, and conferences** for distributed teams
- Order and manage **swag, gifts, and celebrations** for team members and clients
- Produce and maintain **HR documentation**: policies, handbooks, onboarding materials
- Manage **yearly performance reviews**, surveys, and employee engagement
- Help coordinate **travel planning** and assist with operational logistics
- Work closely with leadership to **build culture and retention strategies**:
- Use tools like **Expensify**, **Notion**, and **HRIS platforms** to streamline operations
What We’re Looking For
- Based in **Spain**, with ability to **occasionally travel to Barcelona**:
- Fluent in **English and Spanish** (both required); French is a plus
- **2+ years of experience** in People Ops, HR Generalist, or Office/People Management roles
- Strong knowledge of **labor laws and HR best practices** in Spain; familiarity with France, UK, and US is a strong plus
- Excellent communication, high emotional intelligence, and a people-first mindset
- Comfortable in a **startup environment**: autonomous, flexible, and efficient
- Tech-savvy and confident using modern tools (e.g., Notion, Expensify, Google Workspace)

Compensation
