**The Role**

Role Purpose

System Ownership & Access Control

Approve technical access and change requests for systems under your control.
Maintain system integrity and manage non-standard access in line with security policies

Security Specification & Development Oversight

Define and document security requirements during system design and development.
Ensure developers follow secure coding practices and use approved tools and configurations

Risk Management & Incident Reporting

Identify areas for risk mitigation and ensure practical steps are taken to reduce exposure.
Report anomalies, incidents, and weaknesses in systems or processes.

Security Document Creation & Lifecycle Management

Draft and update customer security documents and technical specifications.
Manage document versions, approvals, and storage in OpenPages or equivalent tools.

**Who You Are**

Core Technical Skills

Cybersecurity & Risk Management: Experience with threat modelling, incident response, and vulnerability assessments.
Security Frameworks: Familiarity with NIST, RMF, CIS Controls, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS.
Cloud & Infrastructure Security: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, Zero Trust architecture, and multi-site recovery designs.
Data Protection: Knowledge of orchestration tools like GDPS/GDDR and technologies such as Dell EMC, IBM, Rubrik, Veeam, and Commvault.
Certifications

Foundational: COMPTIA Security+, CRISC.
Intermediate: CISM, CISSP.
Advanced: SANS certifications and domain-specific credentials.

Soft Skills

Strong communication skills to explain complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to adapt to evolving threats and technologies.
Collaboration across teams and with clients to design secure solutions.
