Additional Job Description
As an Inventory and E&O Analyst, you will be placed within our Supply Chain Planning organization in Barcelona reporting to the Inventory Analytics Team Lead.
The main responsibility is to provide analytical support to the newly created Material Management Organization. Responsibilities include driving robust analysis and actions to support planning in achieving their KPIs, focusing on inventory, service, E&O, material shortages, etc.
The initial responsibilities will include working with manufacturing sites, procurement, divisions and SNP to drive the visibility of the materials in the network, understanding potential shortages, mitigating the risks and identifying inventory and E&O reduction opportunities.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Analyze and map current processes across Europe to identity gaps in the processes and tools, make proposal to close those gaps
- Work in close contact with manufacturing sites and planning to provide them analysis to support daily operations
- Work with stakeholders to reassure processes are aligned and documented
- Monitor process execution
- Analyze main Inventory drivers and root-causes for E&O and at-risk stock, propose solutions and follow up with functions on resolution
- Provide analysis that identifies potential supply gaps and helps prevent raw and pack material shortages
- Provide safety stock analysis to ensure the best balance of service/cost/cash
- Hold a university degree on a Technological / Economic field or Degree Supply Chain
- Fluent English
- 1-3 years of experience in working with supply chain processes
- Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Preferably already have experience in BI tools like Tableau or PowerBI
- Have the ambition to “walk that extra mile”, and open for intellectual challenges
- Are able to successfully manage your responsibilities, even if it means multitasking with limited oversight
- ** Having a self-developer’s mindset, and willingness to constantly learn is much more important than meeting all the above criteria**
