Qualifications:

**Purchasing Order Coordinator**

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic English speaking Purchase Order Coordinator to join our team in creating a new European Service Support Center in the heart of Barcelona, Spain. The Center will deliver high quality finance and procurement support services for Americold operations across Europe. By leveraging best practices and technology, we aim to create a collaborative environment that fosters growth and development.

The Purchase Order Coordinator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end purchase order (PO) process within the company's ERP system. This role ensures that purchase requests are correctly raised, submitted for approval, and accurately tracked through to the receipt of goods or services. The position is critical in maintaining efficiency, compliance, and accuracy in procurement operations within the shared service center.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Create and raise purchase orders in the ERP system based on purchase requests.
- Submit PO's for approval in line with company authorization and procurement policies.
- Ensure timely follow-up on approvals and address any queries related to purchase requests.
- Maintain a database of contracts for which a periodical PO needs to be raised.
- Confirm and acknowledge receipt of goods or services in the system.
- Maintain accurate records of POs, approvals and receipts for audit and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, delays or issues related to orders.
- Support process improvements and best practices within the purchase order function.
