- ** Principal Application Engineer - Combustion** to be based in
- **Spain**.**Missions**:

- 2) Provide solutions to complex customer requirements in common combustion needs in various types of furnace/combustion process. Develop proposals with the Commercial Technology Team to meet cost, commercial and technical needs
- 2) Project management of internal resources and of equipment build contractors to ensure delivery of equipment that is on time, on budget and right first time for quality and meeting agreed scope/design purpose
- 3) Commissioning of gas delivery systems at the customer site, following all necessary safety and operational standards.
- 4) Ensure HAZOPs and risk assessments, project reviews are completed on a project by project basis ensuring technical files are created and stored.
- 5) Provide technical support to both internal and external customers as required.
- 6) Produce and deliver training to internal and external customers.
- 7) Develop standardised equipment offerings to meet market needs, through customer understanding and process knowledge, reducing project cycle time.
- 8) Development of suitable equipment build contractors to support the business in all EA sub regions and at times in India and the Middle East.**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education Requirements**:

- Degree in engineering, ideally Chemical or Mechanical
- Chartered or similar professional qualification, or working towards

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 10 years experience of Project management and equipment design and specification experience
- Customer facing experience particularly with technical counterparts
- Experience with gas systems, process controls and instrumentation systems and electricals
- Contractor management experience
- Working across European cultures
- Strong written communication skills
- Be able to work remotely and able to travel frequently
- Self-motivated independent worker
- Able to work at pace under pressure
