he IT manager is leading the Finance & Controlling team within IT Applications area, including people management, strategic planning and budgeting. You are acting as the primary IT contact for senior business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on all matters related to IT Business Applications in Finance & controlling.

Serves as IT solution lead and project manager for finance-related IT initiatives, driving the implementation of standardized, harmonized, and well-documented solutions in line with Arxada’s deployment practices. Collaborates closely with tax, treasury, and global business services teams to ensure seamless integration and support across financial operations..

Key accountabilities:
- Team Leadership & Development- Lead and coach the Finance & Controlling IT team.- Oversee recruitment, performance management, development, and succession planning.- Conduct salary reviews and ensure team capacity planning.- Continuously monitor and improve team performance- Strategic IT Planning & Governance- Define annual IT priorities in collaboration with Finance leadership.- Represent IT in global Finance committees and act as escalation point for business stakeholders.- Manage the IT project portfolio for Finance & Controlling.- Solution Design & Implementation- Analyze and prioritize user requirements; advise stakeholders on IT solutions with a background in common technologies, mainly SAP.- Estimate project costs, approve concepts/specs, and facilitate workshops.- Oversee system configuration/customization, testing, training, and data migration of the SAP solution- Project & Vendor Management- Manage development services and external partners.- Train vendors on Arxada standards and monitor software delivery quality.- Collaborate with IT Vendor & Service Management to define and source external services.**Skills**:
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in coaching, developing, and motivating teams- Solid understanding of SAP FI/CO and related financial systems, with hands-on experience in solution design and delivery- Strategic planning and budgeting expertise, including capacity planning and resource allocation- Proven ability to manage IT project portfolios and prioritize initiatives in alignment with business objectives- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, acting as a trusted advisor and escalation point for senior business leaders- Proficient in analyzing business requirements and translating them into effective IT solutions- Experience in overseeing system configuration, testing, training, and data migration activities- Knowledge of governance, compliance (e.g., GMP), and quality assurance standards- Strong vendor management capabilities, including service level definition and quality control of deliverables- Ability to define and implement IT strategy and deployment methodologies- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills- Collaborative mindset with experience working across functions such as tax, treasury, and shared services
