Principal Technical Consultant

**Your role and responsibilities**:
You will support the development of divisional strategies for the delivery of profitable and competitive products, solutions, and services in line with the company's overall business strategy. You will drive the alignment of business models and go-to-market strategies across product lines and divisions, collaborating with various business units to ensure synergy. You will manage product life cycle processes, from idea generation and business case creation to market launch, maintenance, and phase-out, ensuring alignment with market needs and internal processes. You will be responsible for identifying market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence, leveraging these insights to inform product strategy and innovation. You will provide leadership in cross-functional projects involving R&D, sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure smooth product development and delivery. Your ability to navigate complex organizational structures and work with multiple stakeholders will be crucial in successfully implementing strategies and driving results. Your strong analytical skills will help you assess financial performance, conduct pricing analysis, and evaluate the profitability of product portfolios. In addition, you will ensure that sustainability and digitalization trends are integrated into the product development process, aligning with broader market shifts and customer demands. To excel in this role, you will need to stay informed on technological advancements and be proactive in ensuring products remain competitive and innovative in a rapidly changing environment.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- To succeed in this position, you bring over 6 years of experience in the OT/software industry, with a strong focus on digitalization and the Internet of Things. Your deep understanding of cloud and edge technologies, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, especially as applied to Sustainability Solutions, positions you as an expert in relevant technologies and trends.
- With a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Management, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, you possess the technical foundation necessary to excel in this role. Your proven track record in customer focus, consultative selling, and engagement with top management demonstrates your ability to turn opportunities into sales successes.
- Your experience in the industrial software environment, particularly within specific industries like industrial automation, mining, pulp & paper, metals, or food & beverage, adds valuable insight. You also have strong expertise in sustainability solutions, including energy management and optimization, emissions monitoring, and an understanding of industrial sustainability KPIs and metrics such as ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications. Any background in energy audits will be an asset.
- In addition, your experience in designing, developing, and administering sustainability software solutions, ideally in a B2B context, reflects your ability to navigate process, energy, software, and technology automation sectors effectively. Fluency in English is essential for this role, and proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
- You should be open to travel as required to meet business needs.
