Research Engineer

**OBSERVABLE UNIVERSE OF THE COMPANY**

Our client, a world's leading steel and mining company, leverages digital technologies to enhance operational efficiency, product quality and stay at the cutting edge of technological innovation. To accelerate their transformation, with the aim of deploying generative AI tools in their factories and R&D centers, our client is looking to hire a Research Scientist in Generative Artificial Intelligence.

You will be part of a team of 60 people within the R&D center of the company located in Spain, which main mission is to provide digital solution in a wide variety of areas : manufacturing, product development, decarbonization, supply chain

**MISSIONS**

As soon as you join the team, you will take the lead of GenAI-related research projects within the digital team. Your missions will be to:

- Identify research and business opportunities where GenAI will add value
- Design and develop algorithms and models
- Supporting the deployment and commissioning of solutions
- Exploring the state of the art and emerging digital technologies and finding academic solutions for use in a real industrial environment.

**REQUIRED PROFILE**

**ACADEMIC SPHERE**

You hold a Master degree or a PhD in Computer Science Engineering, Mathematics or Physics and you have proven experience in the design and development of Advanced Multimodal Generative AI models.

**TECHNICAL SPHERE**
- Experience in the design and development of LLMs and Image generative AI systems
- Experience in Retrieval Augmented Generation techniques will be an asset
- Expertise in developing DL models in a context of Natural Language Processing (Transformers)
- Expertise in Python. Others programming languages are welcome
