SITA is proud to present a great opportunity for a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, with particular focus on **Azure Monitoring**, to join our Infrastructure Cloud Engineering team. You will be part of a diverse and creative team that is continually striving to offer the best quality products and services that are continuously transforming air travel.
Cloud computing continues to allow us to transform and consolidate IT infrastructure, automate workloads, and pursue further levels of innovation. As a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at SITA, you will be working with Infrastructure Cloud Engineering teams on various assignments that use Cloud technology and automation to tackle large-scale challenges.

**_WHAT YOU WILL DO:_**
- Function as part of a multi-disciplinary squad to build out our Cloud platform connectivity stacks through design and automation
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to help deliver our products and reach delivery on project commitments within our team
- Utilise your technical knowledge to design, configure and implement scalable & secure Azure monitoring solutions, including configuration, collecting and interpreting log analytics and metrics, and integration with our ServiceNow platform
- Participate in design and feedback workshops to improve our services and quality of work
- Provide input into new design and service catalogue standards and instructions
- Assist in solving issues with the Cloud services & platforms
- Assist in providing end-to-end resolution and root cause analysis in collaboration with other functional groups, business units, and vendors
- Participate in design reviews and deliver on solution designs
Qualifications:
**_ EXPERIENCE:_**
- 5+ years’ proven knowledge and demonstrable experience in:
- Designing, configuring & implementing scalable Azure monitoring solutions e.g., Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Insights (Container, Network and Storage) for multiple Cloud components such as VMs, Network, Containers etc.
- Integration with Operational Servicedesk tools, such as ServiceNow, for automated ticket generation
- 3+ years’ proven knowledge and demonstrable experience in:
- Developing and provisioning Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible
- Developing automation scripts using Python (or equivalent scripting language such as BASH, GoLang etc.)
- Using DevOps tools and process to create pipelines using CI/CD, or other such as ADO
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Able to quickly learn and understand new technologies or concepts, review functional and technical requirements, participate in design discussions and ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
