Business Controller

What you’ll do & Who you are We are looking for a Business Controller & Financial Business Partner to join the Finance Real State & Emerging Verticals Spain Organisation (Habitaclia, Fotocasa & Infojobs) that’s embarking upon a significant transformation. You will be part of a team of 4 people, supporting the business partners among the different verticals on the cost side and accruals follow up. You should be the contact person between FP&A, Controlling, SMEs and business. This is a hybrid role (2-3 days in the office), and the office is based in Barcelona (Poblenou). Your main tasks will be: - Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports and recommendations to management- Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance and other areas of business- Researches economic progressions to assist the organisation's financial planning- Creates financial models of "what if" scenarios for future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development, new marketing strategies, etc.- Compiles and reviews the budgets for corporate departments, taking into consideration actual performance, previous expenditures, and estimated expenses and income- Maintains accurate spending records and establishes measures for budgetary control- Delivery of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closings by working closely with all internal and external Financial Controllers and Analysts- Onestream and SAP S4 HANA reporting- - Cost controlling (including accruals) together with FP&A team.- - Trial Balance review and flux analysis- - Review monthly balance sheet reconciliationsWho you are: - Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Controlling / Business Partner position- Bachelor BSc or Masters MSc degree in Computer Sciences, Finance, Economy or Business-related study- Be fluent in Spanish & English- Business analytics knowledge (Tableau) will be an added advantage- Strong knowledge of SAP (we use SAP S/4Hana)- Computer literate with advanced level of Excel and Google Apps knowledge (Sheets and slides) **Benefits**: Life at Adevinta comes with its perks Our Adevintans enjoy the following benefits: - An attractive Base Salary- Participation in our Short Term Incentive plan (annual bonus)- Employee Stock Purchase Program with a match from Adevinta- Work From Anywhere: Enjoy up to 20 days a year of working from anywhere Maybe not from the moon well why not just make sure you have internet connection- A 24/7 Employee Assistance Program for you and your family, because we care ❤️- Win together, lose together is one of our key behaviours.
